Games / Fix an error
AnyPS5 error check
AnyPS5 stops on anything it can't handle yet and prints one exact error line. Paste it here and you'll see which side the problem is on: a setting or file on your PC, a known issue, or something already fixed, and in which build.
Paste the error
It's matched against every AnyPS5 issue, fix, tester thread and error message in the source, so you see whether it's already fixed, in which build, or what to change on your side.
What it checks
- Your setup. Errors the AnyPS5 usage guide explains, like error 193 or 126 on Windows, a page file too small for direct memory,
/dev/udmabufpermissions on Linux, missing system fonts, param.json, PlayGo chunks or a lost execute bit, with the fix the guide gives. - The project's issues and pull requests. Whether someone reported your error, whether a fix exists, when it was merged, and whether that's before or after the latest release. If it's after, your release build doesn't have it yet.
- Tester threads. The per-game Game bring-up discussions, where testers post the branch, build and switches that got their game furthest.
- The source. Which library and file throws your error, and the
APS5_*switches that change that code path.
What to paste
The last 20 to 50 lines AnyPS5 printed before it stopped are enough. On Windows, a build started without a console writes them to anyps5.log next to the .exe. Add the game name or its PPSA ID and you also get the latest from that game's thread. Paths that contain your user name are left out of the search.
Price
One full check a day is free. After that, $2.99 once buys 25 more checks. They don't expire and there's no subscription. Even without checks left you still see the verdict for your error; paying unlocks the steps and the links.
