AnyPS5 controls
The keys AnyPS5 uses out of the box, and a builder that writes anyps5-input.ini for you: click + add next to an action, press the key you want, download the file.
With a controller
Plug it in and play. Any controller SDL recognises works, including Xbox and PlayStation pads, and you can connect or disconnect it mid-game. The first one found is used. Sticks and analog triggers are passed through as they are.
| Xbox-style pad | Becomes |
|---|---|
| A / B / X / Y | ✕ Cross / ○ Circle / □ Square / △ Triangle |
| LB / RB | L1 / R1 |
| LT / RT | L2 / R2 (analog) |
| Start | Options |
| D-pad, stick clicks | D-pad, L3 / R3 |
On a DualSense or DualShock the touchpad click works; finger position on the touchpad is not supported yet. The ini file below does not change controller buttons, only keyboard and mouse.
Keyboard and mouse
Blue keys do something by default. Change any action in the table under the keyboard; the map and the file update as you go.

How the file works
- Save it as
anyps5-input.ininext to the converted game executable, or point theANYPS5_INPUT_CONFIGenvironment variable at it. - Each line is
Action = Type:Value, for exampleCross = KEY:F. Types areKEY(an SDL key name),MOUSE(Left,Middle,Right,X1,X2) andWHEEL(Up,Down, buttons only). - The first line for an action replaces its default keys; more lines for the same action add alternatives. Actions you leave out keep their defaults, which is why the builder only writes the ones you changed.
#and;start a comment, so those two keys cannot be bound. A wrong line stops the game at start-up with the file and line number.
