About this site

anyps5.dev follows the open-source AnyPS5 project one game at a time, so you can see where your game stands without reading three thousand GitHub threads.

Where the information comes from

Everything on the game pages is written from the project's public issues, pull requests and discussions. Each milestone, blocker and hardware result links to the thread it came from, so you can check it yourself. When a claim was made by one tester and nobody has confirmed it, the page says so.

Screenshots were posted in those threads by the testers who took them; the date under each one links to the post. Game icons and key art identify the games and belong to their publishers. The coverage numbers on the progress page are read live from the project's own progress file.

How stages are decided

A game is listed at the furthest point anyone has shown it reach, using the scale long used by console compatibility lists: Boots (starts, no menu), Menus (title screen or menus), In game (gameplay with serious problems), Playable (can be played with minor problems). Many results so far need a tester's own branch with extra fixes, not the official release; every game page says which.

What this site is not

It is not the AnyPS5 project and has no part in writing it. It does not host or link games, firmware, keys or modified builds. For the software itself, the only official place is github.com/boykopovar/AnyPS5.

Corrections

If a page is out of date or wrong, or you are a tester and want a screenshot credited differently or removed, send us a note. New reports in the project's Game bring-up discussions are picked up on the next update.

Privacy

Visits are counted with a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics script. The error check sets one cookie that holds a random account ID, so it can count your free check and remember a purchase. The error you paste is searched against our copy of the AnyPS5 project's public issues, discussions and source, and the matching reports are sent with it to Google's Gemini model to write the steps; we keep only which report matched, not what you pasted. Payments are handled by Stripe; this site never sees your card. If you pay, your email is used only to send you a sign-in link when you want to use your checks on another device.
